EGPU? YES

This unit is much larger than GPD G1 but is significantly more powerful. Using this with my 2022 WINMAX 2 is outstanding. Remove the 2230 NVME and you'll have an oculink connection which is more impressive compared to the USB4 connection. Maybe it's time to buy a handheld with a built in oculink but, right now, I'm enjoying using this while on staycation in Baguio. Happy New Year!

(Almost) Plug and play!

Pros
- Almost plug and play. Just install the AMD driver for the 7800M, connect your PC via the provided Thunderbolt connection, and you're good to go! Play most titles in *max graphics!
- Comes with free carrier case that is perfect for it. Snug for the unit to prevent accidental falls and has space for the power source and some cables.
- Temperature is not that hot for such a sleek package.
- Noise is manageable and not painful to the ear. Significantly quieter than an actual 4070.
- Has an M.2 slot which you can use for extra storage (such as using it as a game library). Heat from using both eGPU w/ running M.2. is still to be measured.

Cons
- Though more compact than a GPU + enclosure combo, it is a lot heavier than you'd expect. If Onexgpu 1 is slightly bigger than palm-size, Onexgpu 2 is a lot bigger however still has a slim profile. Not ultraportable but can be carried around though heavy.
- Not the most powerful GPU ever for the price as Infinity Nikki started to lag during populated scenes (like the city) at max graphics. Honkai Star Rail is smooth at max graphics.
- For more testing but Turbo mode didn't make that much of a difference for me? Pushed Turbo in the abovementioned scenario but didn't notice a change in performance. I did notice it produced louder noise and higher heat but not enough that it's concerning. Will need to do more performance tests.
- Needs a stand. Yes, it can stand on its own but you don't feel reassured. Needs some kind of dock for more reassurance so it doesn't fall and slam itself.

Notes:
- I almost bought the Onexgpu 1 for the smaller form factor thinking 8GB ram was good enough. I don't think V1 it could handle Infinity Nikki seeing how hard Onexgpu 2 worked to play that game. If you want to play modern titles at lesser compromise in graphics, I highly recommend you consider V2 over V1.
- The air coming out from the vents smells like an Xbox :) Honestly the eGPU looks like a console!

For test:
- PCVR performance
- More titles
