I was lucky to snag this when there was a price drop from DB. I've been monitoring daily the stock and price of both 5080 and 5090s on their ecommerce store.
I don't have it in any of the pictures but DB did an excellent job packing the GPU and in delivering it to my house the next day.
So far, this 5090 is a beast. I'm aware that this is considered an entry model for MSI and is the cheapest among the different AIBs and 5090 options out there but it still performs really well and I can feel the upgrade immediately. In Cyberpunk 2077, I have to play in DLAA instead of DLSSQ to really push the card. I'm playing in 3440 x 1440 (UW) to reach at least 96-98% utilization. With MFGx4 on, I get 160++ frames. Absolutely crazy! This is with a Ryzen 7 7800x3d btw.
I also tested this in Doom: The Dark Ages (DLSSQ with full RT & PT, MFGx4) and I reach 200++ fps.
Overall I am super pleased with this purchase. The transition from AMD to NVIDIA was def worth it for the DLSS upgrade and the ability to fully play heavy RT titles (I really like the eye candy and to max every feature in the game).
