The Instinct Esports Edition is built to MIL-STD-810G, having passed the most severe tests for performance in high altitude, extreme cold or heat. It can withstand repeated shocks, turbulence, and sharp impacts and is resistant to rain and dust corrosion.
BEAT HEAT AND WITHSTAND THE COLD
Functions in temperatures from 60˚C to -20 ˚C Passed Method 524.1’s protocols for testing freeze-thaw (Procedures II and III) which simulate freezing from room temperature and thawing from freezing point at high-altitude (with less than 3˚C temperature variability per min).
WATER AND CORROSION RESISTANCE
The Instinct Esports Edition has a water resistance rating of 10ATM (depths up to 100m). It also passes Method 509.6 test for corrosion when sprayed with salt-mist for 24 hours and then drying for an additional 24 hours, meaning it is tough enough for salt-rich activities like boating/sailing.
ANTI-SHOCK
The Instinct Esports Edition survives undamaged after multi-directional shock testing from a drop distance of 122cm under Procedure IV of Method 516.7 (Pendulum Impact test).
