E-COMMERCE SUPERVISOR
The E-commerce Supervisor will oversee the processes of order fulfillment and delivery within the e-commerce department, ensuring that all customer orders are delivered accurately, on schedule, and in excellent condition. This position entails supervising a team of delivery riders, collaborating closely with the logistics and customer service departments, and ensuring smooth coordination between inventory management and shipping of orders. The E-commerce Supervisor will also focus on optimizing delivery routes, assessing performance, and enhancing delivery operations.
B. Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of delivery drivers, couriers, and e-commerce staff involved in order fulfillment and delivery.
- Evaluate team performance, provide coaching and training, and guarantee compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Organize work shifts and assign delivery tasks based on order volume and team availability.
- Oversee daily delivery activities, ensuring that e-commerce orders are delivered to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor the delivery process, ensuring that all products are properly packaged and ready for dispatch.
- Enhance delivery routes for better efficiency, ensuring cost-effective and prompt deliveries.
- Collaborate with the inventory teams to confirm that orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched on time.
- Handle and resolve any delivery challenges, including delayed shipments, damaged products, or incorrect deliveries, in a professional and timely manner.
- Work alongside the inventory team to verify that products are readily available and correctly monitored in the warehouse.
- Work with the e-commerce operations team to ensure that delivery schedules align with inventory availability and demand.
- Assist in rectifying any discrepancies between orders, inventory levels, and delivery status.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with delivery performance, including on-time delivery rates, accuracy of deliveries, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on delivery metrics, encompassing delivery times, operational costs, and any issues faced during the delivery process.
- Analyze delivery data to identify areas for improvement, such as route optimization or reducing delivery delays.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to grasp peak order periods and adjust delivery schedules accordingly.
- Coordinate with external shipping partners (if applicable) to guarantee seamless integration between internal delivery services and third-party providers.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by the E-commerce Manager.
C. Job Specification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, delivery management, or e-commerce fulfillment operations.
- Previous experience in e-commerce or retail logistics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with delivery management systems and route optimization tools.
- Understanding local regulations pertaining to delivery and transportation is essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills abilities.

- Proficient problem-solving skills and the capability to effectively address customer complaints.
