 B. Job Objective

 

The position is responsible for managing the network infrastructure of the Head Office as well as remote stores and will manage the support team in providing after-sales support to customers.

C. Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  1. Manages the network infrastructure of the head office and remote stores
  2. Ensures smooth operations of the internal servers, routers, VPN, computers, PABX, CCTV, email/web services, etc.
  3. Manages a support team to handle post-sales support to customers
  4. Sets clear objectives, evaluate progress and instill a high-performance culture with focus on team work, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues
  5. Ensures working practices are well defined and operational with minimal disruption using technology to improve efficiency
  6. Manages the team and individual performance, technical and skills development
  7. Remains aware of new developments in the field of Information and Communication Technology
  8. Performs other functions that may be assigned by the superior from time to time

 D. Job Specifications

  1. Education
    1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  2. Experience
    1. At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    2. leading and developing a support team
  3. Skill
    1. Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines without cutting corners
    2. Conversant in Service Level Agreements and Operational schedules
  4. Knowledge
    1. Technical understanding of Network Administration, CCTV, hardware troubleshooting, Virtualization Platform (Citrix) and VPN solutions
    2. MSSQL, MySQL, PHP, ASP
  5. Personality
    1. Able to work on own initiative to develop the team
