We are searching for a well-organized Purchaser to join our team. As a Purchaser/Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring goods and services required by the organization while ensuring the best value for money. Your primary objective is to streamline the procurement process, maintain positive vendor relationships, and contribute to cost savings initiatives. The role requires a keen understanding of market trends, negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to meet organizational needs. Exceptional purchasing officers should be smooth negotiators with a keen eye for detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential suppliers and conduct thorough evaluations of their products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
  • Research and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Obtain and review quotations, negotiate terms, and select appropriate vendors.
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining quality standards.
  • Analyze and compare supplier prices, terms, and discounts to achieve cost savings.
  • Evaluate and recommend cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable on gaming technology products is an advantage
  • Great organizational and planning skills.
  • The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
