Model: Akko 5075B plus / Color: Black Grey / Switches: Akko V3 Silver Pro (Linear)
A 75% mechanical keyboard that has too much to offer than you can think. I recently came from a membrane keyboard and this is my very first mechanical keyboard. "This review can be unreliable mostly to those who has more experience on mechanical keyboards."
Good packaging, almost premium and has included keyboard cover (thick clear plastic with logo), USB to Type C cable, extra keycaps, extra switches, extra gasket mounts, keycap and switch remover.
Keyboard quality is really good even for a plastic (really thick and sturdy), little flex and little bit heavy. The RGB lighting on both backlight and case are really clean. (Can be customized with akko cloud driver application). Offers 3 modes of connection like bluetooth, wired (USB to Type C) or wireless receiver. The addition of volume knob is a really nice offer and a life changing feature.
Switches, first time using switches and bought the akko V3 silver pro (linear), it is really sensitive but can be adjusted in the application. Good sound when typing, not too loud and not too quiet. For gaming, since its sensitivity is adjustable via the app, it is really great for FPS, it depends on your preference on how sensitive the keys will be.
Akko cloud driver (application) not the best application, usable but not great, still requires some update from its creators so it may become better. It doesn't give good adjustment options when it comes to light, sensitivity and others, the app doesn't look neat and looks complex to new users. This can change and improve overtime. App ver: 370.1.15_IOTV166 (04-29-2024)
Conclusion: It is a great keyboard, not budget though but it excels on what it can offer such as quality and features. The good features outweighs its solvable problems. It is worth your money when you buy it. It's a great improvement since I come from a membrane keyboard.
