With the collapse of earlier power centers, the continent of Myrtana falls into chaos. Orc forces control much of the land, human rebels fight a losing resistance, and southern factions exploit the conflict for influence and profit. Cities, villages, and strongholds exist under separate rule, each responding differently to authority, allegiance, and force.
The Nameless Hero arrives on the mainland amid this instability, free to support or undermine any major power. There are no rigid classes or predefined paths. Progress emerges organically through alliances, reputation, and personal decisions that directly influence regional control, access to resources, and narrative outcomes.
The world is designed for uninterrupted exploration, offering multiple regions with distinct cultures, climates, and political tensions. Characters operate independently, settlements react to shifting allegiances, and the balance of power changes based on player actions rather than scripted sequences. Systems emphasize freedom, scale, and consequence over confinement.
