Customer Reviews
There are only 3 changes that would be a make or break for other people.
1. The D-Pad is clicky instead of the mushy type the Pro2 has that resembles the original Nintendo D-Pads. It feels like pressing on a Nintendo Switch button.
2. The TMR Joysticks feels heavier to move than the potentiometer sticks the original Pro2 uses but it is drift-free forever so there's that.
3. The batteries aren't removeable like the Pro2 so if you ever have to replace the batteries for some reason then you can't or would have to disassemble the entire controller to install the replacement.
Other than those 3, everything else feels like an upgrade. You can change the layout to an XBox layout so you can play on PC/XBox w/o getting confused. It is also plug-and-play on Steam. The hot-swappable sticks is also an upgrade for when it gets worn-out it's easier to replace.
