Entry Level SSD done right

This is my first time buying this particular SSD model. I've used Adata before and they're pretty reliable.

First thing I'd like to point out is the SSD itself. I like the way Adata went about this model. I have been asked numerous times by people if they should remove the label sticker when installing an NVMe, specially to those boards that comes with a heatsink for M.2's. Adata went to put the label sticker at the bottom side of the stick (which is smart since nothing is really there) and made the top, which has all the components from controller to the NAND chips, bare that can easily be made to contact the heat spreader or heatsink.

Now I know, some SSD labels are made with graphene which actually are thermally conductive but not all of them.

Second, this drive achieves the manufacturer specified transfer speeds as you can see from the screenshots I made.

Third, lets talk about this Adata SSD Toolbox. It is a good looking software but frankly, it is one of the slowest SSD utility i have ever used. It is too laggy, no matter where or what system you use it on. But it has pretty much everything one would need to maintain an SSD. It has the following:

a. diagnostic scan
b. secure erase
c. firmware update (the most important one)
d. system optimization (this changes windows settings for the proper SSD environment)
e. TRIM (this is necessary to maintain the performance of the drive)
f. system information and user manual
g. benchmark - this is probably based on Crystal Disk mark as well
h. Clone - i have never tried this because I use a third party software to do migrations and cloning.

So... should you buy this for an entry level build? Absolutely. My only regret is not buying a higher capacity. My use case is a little heavy since I both use my PC for work and play. I don't know if i could update this review sometime in the future.SD. I've used Adata before and they're pretty reliable. First
