Description
The Strike-X Cube, which is offered here as a black version, Aerocool has expanded its Strike-X series of enclosures and provides the ability to focus, to build very powerful micro systems with Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX motherboard as the heart, which are either controlled by massively good Aircooling or by lush water cooling on temperature. The design of the Strike-X Cubes can thereby identify which Aerocool range of cases the small-form-factor case is assigned without doubt.
There is no mistaking about the front end with a lot of hole lattice, which is held here in black and the standard typical "X" carries as highlighting. Also two areas with chic red lights were recessed into the side frame, which enhance the aggressive look of the cube. In the cover, the frame also forms a convenient carrying handles to better transport the cube to the LAN party. Here, too, follows behind the I / O panel with its two USB 3.0 ports and a fan controller knob (max. 15W) black mesh with a relief of the eponymous, third last letter of the alphabet.
The transparent cover provides sheer superior airflow characteristics including the optional attachable fans (1x 200mm or 2x 120 or 140 mm) or one of up to 45 mm thick radiator (max. 240 or 280 mm). In addition, the Strike-X Cube to two rear positions are equipped with 120er- 140s or fans (pre-installed is an 140s) and behind the metal grille front can be next to another dual heat exchanger (max. 240/280 mm) and two place 120 or 140 mm fan if you do not want to stay with the big 200-mm-propeller that is there advanced from Aerocool.
To describe the spatial distribution inside the Aerocool Strike-X Cubes as very modern. The upper area is among others intended for the Mini-ITX lying or Micro-ATX board and thanks to a removable motherboard tray manages the installation a snap. The double-chamber layout gives the components in the Aerocool Strike-X Cube not only a lot of space, but also contributes significantly to the fact that the hardware does not heat each other. Also shows the view through the window located above the left part only the respectable parts, such as motherboard, RAM, CPU cooler and graphics card. Rather unspectacular hardware such as hard drives and SSDs remain the eye of the beholder, however well hidden as the harnesses from the power supply.
