Simple setup and VPN where I want it

I was a tech for almost 30 years, but it's nice not to have to spend all day setting up a network. This Zenwifi took me about 10 minutes to set up and most of that was waiting for the firmware to update itself. You plug the first mesh unit into the ethernet on your Globe router, install the app, and then plug the other unit where you want it - it's already paired with the first. The app guides you through setting up two connections - one for your main wifi, one for extra devices. Pick names for the connections and passwords and you're done. This is a great setup for those who want a small network at home without a lot of fuss. You've got 2 ethernet ports on each mesh unit, so you've got 3 spare ethernet ports after you tether it to your Globe router, and the coverave is nice. I've got one unit covering 2 rooms upstairs, and one downstairs that covers the livingroom and gives me a full signal downstairs and into the front courtyard. If you want to setup VPN, you'll need to get your login token from your provider, but after that you can apply vpn to individual devices or to every device - so if you wanna game on a US or UK server or watch Netflix there, you can do it. Just choose the 'VPN fusion' option on your router. It's already designed for easy setup with surfshark or nordvpn (I have Nord), but you can set it up with Proton or others with a little extra work. All in all, It's good for my modest needs - gaming and watching shows - so I'm very happy with this purchase.
