Nice
After months of research and watching countless video reviews of the LG DualUp monitor, I finally pulled the trigger. This is definitely one of the best purchase decisions I’ve made to improve my work productivity. It fits perfectly for my use case: I work remotely and prefer not to have a multi-monitor setup, so the LG DualUp solves that problem. It keeps my desk tidy and minimal.
There’s a bit of an adjustment period due to the aspect ratio, but it’s not too bad, and you’ll quickly get used to it. The monitor comes with a mounting arm, which is surprisingly sturdy and high-quality. The picture quality is very good and vibrant.
Cons:
> At 60Hz, it’s not ideal for gaming, especially if you have a graphics card that can push a lot of frames. This isn’t a problem for me since I don’t use it for gaming, but it’s worth noting.
> It doesn’t come with a stand, which surprised me (but the included mounting arm is excellent, as I mentioned above).
> The built-in speakers are of low quality; I rarely use them.
