As the third generation of the CHU series, CHU III builds upon the sound quality and exceptional cost performance that made its predecessors popular among entry-level HiFi listeners. MOONDROP has refined the acoustic architecture, upgraded the driver, and applied precision measurements to create a more mature and refined listening experience.
Aluminum-Magnesium Alloy Composite Diaphragm
CHU III features a 10mm high-performance dynamic driver equipped with an aluminum-magnesium alloy composite diaphragm. The lightweight and rigid diaphragm structure provides fast response, controlled distortion, and extended high-frequency performance, helping deliver clear details with a natural and balanced presentation.
Precision Brass CNC Acoustic Nozzle
A dedicated brass CNC-machined nozzle forms an important part of the acoustic structure. Its high-density material and precision manufacturing help reduce acoustic volume errors while effectively controlling treble standing waves, contributing to cleaner high-frequency reproduction and more consistent acoustic performance.
Scientific Acoustic Tuning
MOONDROP applies its established scientific tuning philosophy through advanced acoustic measurement and carefully controlled subjective evaluation. CHU III is tuned toward the PopAvg-DF (JM-1) frequency response characteristics based on HRTF, delivering extended treble, dimensional imaging, and a smooth, natural tonal balance.
Durable Alloy Casting Cavity
The acoustic housing uses an advanced alloy casting process to provide a rigid and durable structure with a refined metallic finish. A protective coating helps improve resistance to corrosion, while the metal construction provides a premium feel and reliable durability for everyday use.
Universal Detachable Cable
CHU III adopts a universal 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable interface, allowing the stock cable to be replaced or upgraded according to different usage requirements. The standardized connector also provides compatibility with various Bluetooth neckbands and TWS earhooks for greater flexibility.
Lightweight Design in Two Finishes
Continuing the minimalist design language of the CHU series, CHU III is available in Silver and Black. Its compact alloy construction combines a clean appearance with practical durability, making it suitable for comfortable everyday listening.
