With a lightweight build and smaller form factor than the flagship XM5, the Linkbuds are a great alternative for those who want comfort from wearing earbuds all day.
For a 35% cheaper price, the Linkbuds carry essentially the same features of the XM5 minus the smaller 5mm drivers (from the XM5's 8.4mm). Unless you're looking for superior sound, the Linkbuds are more than enough to get you through casual listening throughout the day.
If you're coming from the XM4s, the Linkbuds might be a underwhelming, but if this is your first earbuds from Sony, these are definitely worth a try.
Although I did have a small issue two days after getting this product with the noise cancelling where the right earbud started producing a loud wind blowing noise, that eventually resolved itself in the same day.
