Varmilo is a bright star in the firmament of Chinese keyboard manufacturers. Lubricated stabilizers, hand-built, aesthetic design - each Varmilo keyboard is like a work of art.
If the keyboard is not level, don't worry! Warmilo keyboards are assembled by hand, so this problem can occur if the case is not fully latched during assembly at the factory. To fix this, just bend the keyboard from different sides
In the updated version, the keyboard received a USB Type-C port instead of Mini-USB. It is hidden in the center under the case, and on the keyboard itself there is a central and two side grooves for the cable.
Peculiarities
- EC Switches V2
Varmilo switches actuate without direct contact, which makes the actuation particularly soft and smooth. Such switches will last a long time and give you a pleasant taiping experience.
- V-Silk Keycaps
Made of durable PBT plastic with dye-sublimation technology and engraved symbols on the sides. The keys are smooth and pleasant to the touch, get dirty less, and the characters are not erased or felt when typing.
- Noise and vibration isolation
Vibration isolation between the plate and PCB dampens vibrations from pressing, and noise isolation at the bottom of the case absorbs sounds - this makes the printing process quieter.
- Stabilizers lubricated at the factory
The combination of stabilizers and lubrication makes the stroke of the enter, space, shift, backspace keys uniform and smooth.
- white backlight
It has 3 modes: off, static glow, fade effect, and 4 brightness levels.
Modes change through FN + right arrow, FN + up / down arrow changes brightness in static glow mode and speed in attenuation mode.
- Multimedia and additional FN functions
The keyboard supports keyboard shortcuts for volume control and music control. You can also disable the windows button and swap the Fn and Win / Ctrl and Caps Lock keys.
Due to the manufacturing process, the characters on the keys may be slightly offset.
- Adjustable feet
They allow you to lift the keyboard and change the angle of inclination for comfortable typing, and the rubberized bottom will not allow the keyboard to budge.
- Keyboard compatible with Mac OS
Multimedia and additional FN Functions are compatible with MAC OS and work as expected, and you can swap the modifier keys in the system settings. Tested with MAC OS 10.13.
- USB Full N-key Rollover (NKRO)
Allows you to press an unlimited number of keys at the same time. Convenient in the game when you need to press multi-button combinations.
Beware, older BIOSes may not respond to the keyboard due to NKRO.
If ALT and WIN are swapped or key assignments are misplaced:
Hold Fn + W until CapsLock blinks (swap ALT and WIN)
Fn+Esc or Win+Esc (factory reset)
